The farmer picks the first hemp flower of the harvest, and smells it. They smile.  

They smile because they understand that this plant is unique. Each flower contains its own balance of what we call terpenes – these are the naturally occurring active compounds we have to thank for its aroma and mood-enhancing qualities.  

Really this was the lightbulb moment for CBD and for Flamante. So we’ll say it once more for good luck: terpenes.  

For years we’ve bred our hemp to emphasise a plant’s primary terpene, whether that be linalool, pinene, limonene, humulene, or maybe something even more exotic. Each has its own effect, meaning we’re able to tailor your CBD experience to your needs.  

If we know the terpene balance of a plant we better understand its uses, and our collection is organised with that in mind. Each flower carries a different primary terpene, and we’ve split these into three mood groups: Serene, Vibrant, and Balance.
