About us
Here we sit, in Murcia – South of Valencia, east of Málaga, and just a few miles over there is the endless marvel of the Mediterranean sea. We’re surrounded by the gentle hum of cicadas and, unsurprisingly, the sky is blue. It’s hot here, and it’s dry. That suits us just as it suits the hemp. Because of the fertile lands surrounding the Segura river, Murcia has always been famed for its agriculture – our neighbours fondly refer to the region as The Garden of Europe. We’re proud to continue that tradition.
The team stretches across the pond to Argentina and the US, but this here is home. Here is where we mull over the different ways to take CBD forward and who the experts will be to help us do that.
Our experience in artisanal farming goes back over twenty years and everything we learned over that time is embodied in Flamante. From purified water irrigation systems, to climate control, to independent laboratories for quality testing – this is how we get the best extracts for our oils.
We believe in small-batch farming. That means a community of farmers and researchers who know each other and understand each other’s feelings. It also means we can keep an eye on the whole process.
This all comes down to a respect for our customers and for the earth. Our oils are 100% organic and use no additives. On top of that, Flamante works with carbon-negative partners. That’s only fair. We owe a lot for what the planet gives us.
